Welcome to the GMU Schar School of Policy and Government Biodefense program’s online home for everything biodefense related. Check back often as we blog about current issues and post all sorts of useful information including our weekly newsletter, policy briefs, backgrounders, and even movie reviews.

If you are looking for an overview of biodefense issues facing the U.S. and the world today, you might be interested in our summer workshop, Pandemics, Bioterrorism, and International Security. The three day, non-credit workshop is held in late July and includes coffee, lunch, and materials.
